THE "WATER/WASTEWATER PUMP & PIPING FUNDAMENTALS" TRAINING COURSE

THIS COURSE IS ONLY OFFERED AS AN IN-HOUSE (PRIVATE) SEMINAR AND CAN BE CUSTOMISED TO SUIT YOUR SITE REQUIREMENTS.

This two day pump and piping training course is a "distillation" of the relevant water/wastewater content from our two day "Pump Fundamentals" training course and "Liquid Piping Systems Fundamentals" training course.  It has been specifically designed for those who work in the water/wastewater industry, whether they are involved in industrial or municipal applications or both.

The pump types referenced in this course include:  submersible sewage pumps, borehole pumps, end-suction and vertical inline centrifugal pumps, dry-mount submersibles, self-priming centrifugal pumps, spindle pumps and axial flow pumps.  Similarly, common piping material types such as ductile iron, stainless steel, carbon steel, polyethylene and PVC are also covered.  The course also includes information on common instrumentation types, valves types and pump station tips, traps and design issues.

This course is recommended for those new to water/wastewater applications or for those who want to formalise their on-the-job learning so that they are better placed to either design, operate, maintain or troubleshoot pumps and piping systems found in water and wastewater treatment plants, water and sewage pump stations and other water/wastewater related assets.

A PDF Flyer is available for download (by clicking the button above) which gives more detailed information.

KASA Redberg has been presenting this seminar since August 2008 in site-based training rooms (e.g. treatment plant facilities) as well as the conference rooms of municipal water/wastewater authorities.
